Bye Bye 2011!

I have to be totally honest, I’ve been twiddling my thumbs for 2011 to be over! I had some great memories….but more lessons than memories by far! I’m ready to start with a clean slate. Leave all the excess baggage in 2011. I’m packing light this year! I hope everyone has a memorable and safe transition into 2012.

What Ever Lola Wants Lola Gets

For awhile now I have been pleading with my parents like I was 13 years old again to buy me an IPad 2. No matter how old I seem to get, I still like to revert back to that 13 year old who begs their parents for the latest thing they want (that’s the baby of the family syndrome thing I have going on when I’m feeling negleted.) Well, after some constant nagging and a “Top 10 Reasons I Need An Ipad 2” list I sent to my parents, it finally paid off!!!

Behold my IPad 2! A friend said I must name her….so….introducing….Lula Mae!

Why I Can’t Leave Southern California…

Sometimes I feel like I’ve been in California way to long. Born and raised here and still here….sometimes I yearn for more. I know there is more to life than this little stretch of land. I really do feel like I belong in New York. Every time I go there, I feel so alive and adventurous. It could just be the fact that I do not live there and if I did I’d be in the same rut there that I feel now, but every time I get antsy to move on from this place, something pulls me back. While driving down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) the other day I realized….I cannot leave this!! It’s Fall and look at this beautiful view! It was so beautiful I had to pull over and snap a couple of photos….

Have an adventurous and safe weekend!
